The Yellow Bike Club in Viborg buzzes with creativity and development. Here we work purposefully to help children and young people figure out who they are and what they will use it for. Do you want to join?

About the position

The Yellow Bike is a leisure and youth club in Viborg’s northern district. We offer activities, community, presence and movement in body and mind, for children and young people from 4th grade up to 18 years old.

Since 2020, we have been a Club focused on presence, analog communities and digital health as a natural part of practice. Read more via the attached link The Yellow Thread.

We are looking for a pedagogue for 37 hours a week, who can actively participate in our team and contribute with both professional and personal competencies. Working hours are primarily day and afternoon shifts, but there will also be weekly evening openings, various trips, events and camps.

We highly value flexibility and meaningful task solving. You will therefore have influence over your work scheduling, including preparation time.

• In the club we are a team of “multiblack-armed octopuses” in terms of activity. This even if we are not world champions in all activities. Activities attract, but the relationships keep people engaged, therefore your willingness to participate, learn new things and challenge yourself is most important.

You will, in return, have great influence and autonomy, solid professional sparring and a place in a strong team.

Who are we?

We are five full-time employees who pull together and believe in the energy that arises from shared commitment. With an “anything is possible” mindset we create the fantastic and unexpected and constantly develop a practice that pushes the boundaries for the content of good leisure life.

Our everyday life is diverse and dynamic. As part of Viborg Youth School we have access to a wealth of tasks, e.g., mentoring work, teambuilding, school pedagogical tasks, outdoor activities, leisure teams, etc. This gives you the opportunity to bring your particular competencies into play and develop in new directions.

We moved three years ago into a newly built large club building designed for leisure, located between Nordre School and Mercantec, and the collaboration with both schools is strong and developing. You will have the opportunity to shape the club’s future path – at a time when leisure pedagogy has never been more important.

Salary is determined based on the applicable collective agreement and a concrete assessment of your education, your documented work experience as well as your professional and personal qualifications.
