About the job

Knudsø department is part of Søhøjlandets Skole og Børnehus, where we every day work to create a safe, inspiring and inclusive school for all students.

We are looking for an engaged and relationship-strong pedagogue who wants to become a central adult around our recently merged 5th grade. The class will develop from two former classes into one strong community, and you will have an important role in strengthening the students' well-being, participation and sense of community.

You will not be responsible for teaching the subject subjects. Instead you will be a central part of the class’s well-being and inclusion efforts and will have a large influence on the development of a new middle form around the class. Together with teachers and leadership you will have the opportunity to help shape a practice that supports the students’ development both socially and personally.

Particularly for the new 5th grade, we prioritize three adults around the class daily. This provides good opportunities to work preventively, create participation opportunities for all students and develop inclusive learning environments.

A portion of your working time will also be in Klubben, which is the after-school program for students from 4th to 6th grade in Knudsø department. Here you become part of a dedicated pedagogical community where relationships, activities and communities continue after school hours.

About us

As a new colleague at Søhøjlandets Skole og Børnehus you become part of a dedicated and professionally strong community. With us, teachers and pedagogues work closely together to create the best framework for students’ well-being, learning and participation.

As a pedagogue you will become part of a pedagogical community across our two departments, where sparring, knowledge sharing and joint development are a natural part of daily life.

  • Can collaborate closely with teachers, pedagogues, management and parents.
  • Work in an appreciative and resource-oriented way with students and communities.
  • Desire to both develop your own practice and contribute to the school’s collective development.
