We are seeking as soon as possible and no later than 1/12-2026 a skilled pedagogue or pedagogical assistant for a permanent position.

The School at Nordens Plads is a holistic offering with around 215 children and young people as well as 160 staff. We are a dynamic and inclusive school that places high value on professionalism, well-being and belonging.

We have students at an early development stage, students with challenges within autism spectrum disorders, and students with general learning difficulties.

At the School at Nordens Plads we are anchored in the belief that children thrive when they can. We work based on Low Arousal, Mentalization and visualized, structured special pedagogy.

We are looking for a colleague who can contribute to creating the best conditions for the students' learning and development.

Your task will be, in a committed interprofessional collaboration, to ensure that the students can unfold their potential for personal, academic and social development. With curiosity and ambition you meet the children where they are.

The staff are co-leaders, primarily in the core team, but also in professional and pedagogical groupings. In addition the school has counselors employed and all collaborate closely with Educational Psychological Counseling.

Your primary responsibilities will be

• Planning and implementation of pedagogical activities to support the students' academic and social development
• Collaboration with teachers and other staff on students' well-being
• Communication and collaboration with parents
• Participation in meetings and pedagogical development projects
• Preparation of documentation and status letters

We are looking for someone who

• is engaged and passionate about working with the special needs area
• has a relevant pedagogical education, preferably with a focus on special pedagogy
• is calm and has a mentalizing approach to themselves, students and colleagues
• is prepared to work in a team with teachers, teaching assistants and other educators, where equality in collaboration is a key concept
• can involve the students so that meaning is created and support the students' independence and belief in themselves
• has an eye for seeing and developing students' potential

Working hours for all staff are between 7:00 and 17:00
