The Hvissingegården Day Care Center is urgently seeking a pedagogue for our big-children house 32-37 hours.

About us

Hvissingegården consists of three departments, housed at Hvissingegade 15a, 17 and 19 in the old Hvissinge in Glostrup Municipality. We are located near the pond in a nature-rich area by Vestkoven.

Broager and Spurvebo are our “junior houses” with two groups of the youngest toddlers, and a group consisting of the oldest toddlers and the youngest kindergarten children.

The farm is our “big-children house,” which receives the oldest children from both of our junior houses.

Although we are in 3 houses, we think of ourselves as one house and emphasize that we are one institution and one staff group.

We are seeking a pedagogue with a meaningful presence and a steadfast belief that the responsibility for the quality of the relationship always lies with the adult – without exception.

In Glostrup, all pedagogues are trained within ICDP with a view to strengthening the development-supportive interaction, including the important work of creating attachment. We are focused on the child being able to develop at their own pace and participate in meaningful communities, where the focus is not on becoming something, but on being and becoming someone – together with others.
