Educator sought for a special education residential care facility (full-time, near Dianalund)

Our offering is under development and we are expanding several of our citizen-facing teams, and therefore we are looking for pedagogical staff like you who enjoy working professionally in depth with a citizen who has complex challenges.

With us you don’t just work with citizens—you work with people in vulnerable life situations. Therefore we meet the citizen at eye level and start from where the individual is, and you will have the framework to work pedagogically with calm, continuity and quality.

We know that development in the area requires stability and trust. Therefore you as a pedagogue are a key person in creating structure, recognizability and secure relationships in everyday life.

You can look forward to working in a fixed citizen team, where we work with a 2:1 staffing ratio. This gives you the opportunity to delve into the individual citizen and work targeted with the pedagogical strategies you have agreed in collaboration with your team.

• We work structurally and purposefully with the pedagogical effort
• Your observations and reflections are important and are included
• We prioritise sparring, supervision and joint professional development

We expect that you have

• A relevant pedagogical or health-professional education – such as pedagogue, pedagogical assistant, teacher, social worker, occupational therapist or similar.
• Experience with working with vulnerable citizens
• A professionalism that allows you to show calm, even when the waves are high
• A high degree of empathy, honesty and a willingness to take responsibility
• Experience with personal care
• Driving license B
