We are seeking a pedagogue for Lindved Vestergaard near Hornsyld.

Boller Skov is a social-pedagogical 24/7 residential offering with two departments, Boller Skov and Lindved Vestergaard, for children and young people aged 4-21 years.

Our children and young people come with different challenges and can be affected by dissatisfaction, behavioral challenges and development difficulties. They need adults who stand firm, take responsibility and at the same time meet them with care, respect and recognition.

With us, pedagogy is therefore not only about conversations and plans. It is also about being present, doing something together and creating relationships through real experiences .

It can be on a hike in the forest, around a campfire, on a bike, in the workshop, on a journey or in the middle of an ordinary day where something practical needs to be solved.

Therefore it is a clear advantage if you enjoy being active, using your body and getting out into nature – and if you want to take the children and the youths with you.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a colleague who would like a job where relationships, responsibility, professionalism, practical tasks and physical activity go hand in hand .

You do not need to be an outdoor expert or elite athlete. But it is an advantage if you thrive more with an active and varied workday than sitting still all day.

We expect that you

• are a trained pedagogue or have another relevant pedagogical background
• can create strong relationships and at the same time be a clear and stable adult
• take responsibility and keep calm when situations become demanding
• focus on professionalism, reflection and documentation
• can express yourself well in writing
• have experience with or an interest in parent cooperation
• want to involve children and young people in practical, physical and outdoor activities
• enjoy yourself a bit of sport, movement, nature, outdoor life, crafts or other practical activities
• be available for shifts, including day, weekend and holiday work
• have a driving license.

Your leisure interests can actually be a strength for us. Maybe you fish, run, ride a bike, lift weights, play football, hunt, build things, cook over a campfire or simply enjoy being outdoors. The most important thing is that you want to bring a bit of yourself into play and invite the children and the youths to join .

Practical

The position is at Lindved Vestergaard near Hornsyld and is a full-time position with starting as soon as possible.

The position requires relevant education and a driving license. In addition, criminal record and child abuse clearance must be presented.
