Educator sought for Præstegårdsskolen, Line S, Kvaglund department

Line S at Kvaglundskolen in Esbjerg Municipality is seeking a pedagogue for a permanent position with commencement on 1 December 2026 or as soon as possible. You must have a strong interest and experience in working with children and young people within the special education field, and be able to participate in physically active diverse activities. The positions are between 30-37 hours per week.

Line S is a segregated school offering for students in Esbjerg municipality. The target group is students from 0th to 9th grade with a combination of severe social, emotional, cognitive, communicative and/or relational difficulties. There will often be complex difficulties as well as students with diagnoses within the autism spectrum, ADHD, etc.

These are students who, due to their level of functioning and challenges, have not benefited from the offer in a mainstream class. For a student to be offered schooling at Line S, the student must be referred by the Central Admissions Committee, DUS.

Line S currently has about 110 students aged 6-17, spread across 0-9th grade, and there are currently 23 teachers and 24 pedagogues who work closely in class teams.
