Educator wanted for a young boy - meaningful part-time job!

12-year-old boy seeks a caregiver.

About the citizen

The boy has ADHD and oppositional defiant disorder. He lives with his mother and younger brother. He attends school daily and is a social boy with social relationships. He likes football. He is an outgoing and curious boy who enjoys talking about various things. He has a lively and somewhat challenging language. The boy benefits greatly from physical activities.

The boy needs clear boundaries and structure.

About the task

We are looking for a substitute who can create some fun and active activities together with the boy. The activities could be; playing football together, going to the swimming pool, playing chess. Activities can be both inside and outside the home.

Working hours

3 hours per week are allocated.

Help is desired on Wednesdays in even weeks from 14:00-17:00 and Fridays in odd weeks from 16:30-19:30. This is a request from the mother, but if you can other days, it can be negotiated.

All arrangements are made with the mother.

About you

You are a trained pedagogue and preferably have experience with citizens with special needs. You can set boundaries and establish clear framework around the boy when you are together. You like to be active and can take initiative for good activities.
