Educator who is passionate about infant life sought for Børnehuset Solsikken

Do you want to play with us? We are currently seeking an educator who is passionate about toddler life at Børnehuset Solsikken. Come and help make a difference for our 44 lovely toddlers.

The position is 37 hours per week with start on January 1, 2027

We are looking for colleagues who are passionate about toddler pedagogy, value presence, care and security in everyday life and at child level.

Børnehuset Solsikken is an institution that started as a nursery in January 2023 and in November 2024 was expanded with a kindergarten. In the nursery there are 44 lovely children distributed over 3 rooms, we are surrounded by a large playground and a good local environment with many opportunities. In the kindergarten there are 40 children distributed over 2 rooms.

Børnehuset Solsikken has its address in newly renovated premises at Sallvej 39, 8450 Hammel.

We expect that you

• Are a trained educator with interest and knowledge to support the development of 0-2 year olds
• Can work with structure, repetitions and predictability
• Are professionally well-founded and capable of taking initiative
• Are stable and flexible
• Have a sense of your physical presence – you are where the children are and have a focus on creating development-promoting learning spaces – enjoy playing
• Are open to sparring and development of shared and own practice
• Are proactive and take independent responsibility and co-responsibility for planning, execution, and evaluation of pedagogical practice and other tasks

Børnehuset Solsikken is part of Area Hammel, which consists of 8 institutions. In the area we work, among other things, with the strengthened curricula, focusing on small and large learning communities. As pedagogical tools we use the LP-model, RARRT, the brain and the heart.

Salary and employment terms according to the current collective agreement with BUPL and according to principles for new pay.
