We are seeking a committed and professionally strong trained educator for a 37-hour position in our toddler group. We are not in a hurry and are happy to wait for the right person.

The position is a combination of working as a room educator and possibly a function as coordinator. We are therefore looking for you who are both passionate about the pedagogical practice with the youngest children and motivated to have the big overview of how the adults are distributed in the house.

About Blomsterspiren

Blomsterspiren is a combined day care institution in Gentofte municipality. We have high professional ambitions, engaged staff and are building a culture where we move from being a toddler group and kindergarten to a unified house. The toddler group is on the first floor, the kindergarten on the ground floor.

Over the past year we have renovated and created good conditions for the staff and new learning environments for the children.

We work according to the strengthened pedagogical learning plan with a focus on strong learning environments, play, the child’s trace, Low Arousal, visual support and opportunities for participation for all children. For us, reflection, evaluation and professional development are a natural part of everyday life. We are currently very focused on play and learning environments.

You will become our 10th educator in the house, together with a handful of pedagogical assistants, skilled aides and our cook who prepares meals for all children.

The coordinator role

We want our upcoming coordinator to succeed. Therefore you will have close collaboration with the management so that we together develop the coordinator role. It is a new role at Blomsterspiren. We want you to help form an overview of the substitute needs, the number of children present and how the staff resources are used best.

Who are we?

We are an institution in development. We hold department meetings every Monday, where the toddler group and the kindergarten take turns holding the meeting. We have staff meetings and currently flexible preparation time. In addition, we try to keep evening meetings to a minimum.

We want a culture characterized by psychological safety, where there is room to ask questions, try new ideas and develop our practice together. We believe that strong workplaces create strong children's communities.

We have this year moved to KIDS supervision, which is why we are also very focused on learning environments.

• is passionate about working with 0-3-year-olds, but wants to participate in collaboration with children from 0-6 years

About the coordinator function

As coordinator you will become a professional key person in the toddler group and work closely with the institutional leader and the daily leader. As well as a close collaboration with the coordinator from the kindergarten and your colleagues. You do not have personnel responsibility, but you help create direction, coordination and coherence in the pedagogical practice.

You will among other things

• coordinate the daily pedagogical practice (break schedule etc.)
• support the implementation of pause schedules and organization.
• contribute to planning and structure in daily life
• help develop and maintain high pedagogical quality.
