The position is 32-37 hours per week with the possibility to adjust the number of hours to your wishes.

About Elverhøj

Børnehuset Elverhøj sits in wonderful rural surroundings in Ågerup , in the northeastern part of Roskilde, with, among other things, forest, fields, a small town square, and the local library within walking distance. The kindergarten consists of two kindergarten groups and one nursery group. We have a playground with rich opportunities for activity, where you can help shape daily life. Our indoor spaces include rooms with adjoining side rooms in the kindergarten, as well as an adjoining open room in the nursery.

The kitchen offers hot and cold dishes made from fresh ingredients prepared by our skilled kitchen staff.

We practice a clear daily structure , as well as division into smaller groups . In this way we can create overview and predictability for both children and adults.

Our approach is based on a resource-oriented view of children , where we focus on the belief that children do well when they can. This means that we adults must be proactive, approach the task with curiosity and adjust our practice – perhaps we need to step back and see the world through the child’s eyes or find a new way that works better. We believe in clarity, care and presence , which help the children to flourish.

We place a high value on close and professional parent collaboration , and we see parents as important sparring partners regarding their children.

Salary and employment terms according to the applicable collective agreement.

Start date 1 December 2026 or as soon as possible.

We will obtain criminal and child checks, as well as references, before final employment can take place.
