Educator with a special education profile sought for Holberg School

We are seeking a pedagogue for Holbergskolen who is passionate about creating safe, developing and meaningful learning communities for students with special needs.

The position is anchored in our intermediate-form provision and will initially be attached to Villaen, which is a sheltered teaching provision for students with autism-like traits and other complex needs.

We are looking for a pedagogue who meets children with curiosity, warmth and professional reflection. You can look beyond the behaviour and understand that development happens in relationships and in environments where demands and support go hand in hand.

In Villaen we work purposefully to strengthen the students' academic, social and personal competencies, so that they can increasingly participate in larger communities. We do this through clear structure, strong relationships, special-education tools and a close collaboration between teachers, pedagogues and families.

Special-education competencies: You are a trained pedagogue and have knowledge, experience or great interest in working with children with autism-like traits, sensitive profiles or other complex needs.

Strong relational skills: You can create trusting relationships with children, parents and colleagues and see the relationship as a crucial foundation for development and learning.

The ability to create structure and safety: You can work systematically and clearly with frameworks, predictability and visual support for the students’ everyday life.

An affirming view of children: You meet the children with respect and understanding and work from a fundamental belief that children do the best they can.

Collaboration skills: You thrive in a close cross-professional collaboration with teachers, pedagogues, parents and external partners.

Professional curiosity: You want to continuously develop your practice and contribute to the development of our intermediate-form provision.

Salary and terms of employment

Salary and employment are offered as a permanent position according to the applicable collective agreement. Starting on December 1, 2026 or as soon as possible.
