Educator with social-pedagogical experience sought for Klub Ballerup, Grantoftens Fritidscenter department

We are seeking a trained pedagogue for 30-37 hours per week for an area in Ballerup where the social-pedagogical task is in focus. You will become part of a fantastic team that has a special focus on our children and young people aged 10-18. Your working hours will mainly be in the period 10-17, as well as 1-2 evening shifts in the period 17-21:30. In addition there will be events and activities, as well as overnight stays outside opening hours, which you will be a part of. The position can also include tasks within contact person duties under § 32 of the Child Act.

Our upcoming colleague

• Is a trained pedagogue, preferably with experience in the special needs field
• Sees the relational work and working with this age group as exciting. You must be open and welcoming and meet children and young people and their families with mutual respect
• Is willing and interested in working narratively and with mentalization with this age group, so that you can support the youths' opportunities to participate in communities, in line with Ballerup Municipality's Child and Youth Policy
• Has interest and knowledge of tasks within the creative workshop
• Has experience with conflict resolution/mediation
• Will to some extent be expected to participate in network meetings, coordination conferences etc. in close cooperation with the schools, the coordinator and the social worker. We have a well-functioning collaboration with the district's schools, and therefore there will be limited tasks that reach into school hours
• Is proactive, can initiate pedagogical activities and carry out tasks on their own as well as in team collaboration with colleagues.

Who we are

Club Ballerup's department Grantoftens Leisure Center is a leisure facility located in Ballerup Municipality. We currently have 640 children and young people enrolled. The club has a building playground, two club departments, a youth club. In addition, we have a special youth club department Meeting Place for vulnerable youth as well as a Motocross project. The primary place of employment is at Grantoftens Leisure Center.

Hiring process and salary

The position is desired to be filled by January 1, 2027, or as soon as possible.

Interviews will be held in week 45.

The position is typically 37 hours and a permanent position.

We offer salary and employment terms according to the collective agreement for pedagogues in municipalities. Employment is made according to the principles of local pay setting and in agreement with the negotiator organization.

The salary range for the position is 35,990 DKK – 43,193 DKK per month excluding pension for full-time employment (37 hours per week).

The final salary is set after negotiation between the employer and the professional organization that holds the negotiating rights for the relevant collective agreement area. The salary depends, among other things, on your education, documented seniority and qualifications.
