We are seeking the last two educators for the newly established language and resource corps

In Vallensbæk Municipality we are on our toes to create frameworks for a developing child and youth life, where all children can thrive and have a balanced life. Therefore it has been politically decided that in the day-care area a language and resource corps should be established with six resource pedagogues who can support day-care, infants' homes and kindergartens in creating the best possible pedagogical learning environments in which all children can thrive, learn and develop. We have now hired four educators for the corps, and are now missing the last two. Maybe it's you?

As a language and resource pedagogue you will be employed with reference to the head of the day-care department. Most of your working time will take place in the day-care centers, where you will participate in the pedagogical everyday life and help strengthen all children's well-being, learning and development.

We expect you to be able to contribute to

• develop and qualify the pedagogical practice
• translate knowledge into targeted interventions for children with linguistic and special educational challenges
• create appropriate disruptions by looking at practice with new eyes and asking good questions
• contribute to anchoring interventions in the everyday pedagogical practice
• collaborate with management and the staff group on language development and participation opportunities for all children

In addition, we expect you to be able to work independently and be a role model regarding the pedagogical practice. There may occasionally be evening meetings in the form of participation in the day-care centers' staff meetings.

Educationally it is necessary that you have a trained pedagogue education and experience with the day-care sector, and if you have knowledge and experience with language stimulation and/or children in vulnerable positions, it is a big plus.

These are permanent 37-hour positions. Salary and working conditions in accordance with the agreement with BUPL.
