Educators for an adventurous everyday life in Fairy Tale House

Eventyrhuset opened the doors to a completely new-built kindergarten in August 2026. We are now looking for new colleagues who want to become part of our magical everyday life.

Eventyrhuset consists of 3 kindergarten groups and 3 nursery groups. In the kindergarten, the rooms are age-integrated. In the nursery we currently have 2 reception rooms and 1 room for the oldest nursery children.

The staff in Eventyrhuset are matched across the rooms based on competencies, so they can complement each other as best as possible in daily life.

In Eventyrhuset we are very focused on working with opportunities for participation for everyone. This means, among other things, that we continuously adjust our practice so that all children have the opportunity to be part of the community in their own way, with their own unique personalities and different needs. We are therefore now looking for pedagogues who are especially good at spotting each individual child's needs and who can support the children in bringing their resources into play in the child community.

We are also focused on creating a close and trusting relationship with the parents, where there is always room for open and honest communication, and where we are curious about the parents' perspective and daily life.

We are a kindergarten with a good working environment, and we regularly have dialogues about how we can create a cohesive thread between nursery and kindergarten, and how, through open, honest and respectful communication, we can ensure good collaboration between nursery and kindergarten.

We also have close cooperation with, among others, resource teachers, psychologist, speech-hearing consultant, multilingual advisor, Family Department, physiotherapist and occupational therapist, etc.

Since we have a big focus on early intervention, it is important for us to initiate the right efforts as early as possible when we perceive that a child has a need for this.

We would very much like to hear from you if you can see yourself in the above and also

• are passionate about helping to create and develop the best possible pedagogical framework for our children in close cooperation with the other staff in the house
• have solid pedagogical professional knowledge and are able to translate knowledge into practice
• have a good overview and can adapt when daily life calls for it
• have strong communicative skills both orally and in writing
• have a positive view on life and humanity and see the uniqueness in each child and its family.

Positions with commencement on December 1, 2026.

We are, however, happy to wait a little longer for the right colleagues if necessary. Salary and employment terms according to collective agreement and principles of New Pay.

About Gladsaxe Municipality as an employer

As a newly employed pedagogue in Gladsaxe Municipality you will follow our introductory program. It helps you get started well so you can quickly thrive in your new job. We also offer ongoing coaching and internal courses that can support your work. We are a workplace that prioritizes flexibility and a good work-life balance, among other things by offering the possibility of a 4-day work week.

As a pedagogue in our kindergartens you will receive a permanent Gladsaxe allowance as well as an seniority allowance after 2 years of uninterrupted employment.

The position is 37 hours per week. If a full-time position is not right for you, we are happy to discuss another number of hours.

We would like to point out that only applicants with a pedagogical education will be considered for the position.

We expect to hold interviews on an ongoing basis. The final interviews will be held on October 29 between 11-15.
