About the job and the tasks

We are experiencing increasing demand from families for our kindergarten. therefore we now seek three pedagogues. One for the toddler group and two for the kindergarten, one of which is a maternity substitute.

Positions are 32-37 hours.

Employment from 1 December 2026.

Our expectations of you

You are a trained pedagogue, and you are focused on the children's perspectives and can follow their lead. You want to help shape a kindergarten where we don't just do as we usually do, but are always curious whether we can do something better.

You can slow down the pace and create contact. You can justify your pedagogical choices, share your observations and be part of exploring what works - even when the answer is not obvious.

You see children's behavior as communication, and you become curious about what the child tells us that we maybe should do differently. You work relationally, and are curious about what you yourself bring into the relationship with children. You can create safe and clear frameworks, where you are actively participating and make yourself available to the children. You have good energy, preferably seasoned with a good portion of humor, and you want to contribute to a work community where we take our professionalism seriously and have fun together.

Salaries and terms of employment

Salary and employment according to applicable collective agreement, with the possibility to negotiate qualification and function pay.

There will be obtained a child certificate.

About us

Børnehuset Østerled is a day care offering consisting of a dedicated staff group and management, who every day work to create safe, developing and present environments for all children. We are different as people but share a professional approach, where relationships, play and safe child communities are at the center.

We are a house in development, and have redecorated, with new learning environments, colors that support the calm children need in the nervous system, curiosity about what children call for, and not least professional and personal development.

Our outdoor environments and rooms in outdoor environments make it possible to stay regardless of weather. The spaces both indoors and outdoors enable physical activity, high as well as low. There is a motor room in several places in the house. In addition we have quiet areas where we do quiet tasks and create calm in the nervous system.
