Educators for the nursery at Børnehuset Hørgården – a children's house with presence, care and professionally developing communities

Do you want to be an educator in a children's house where presence, care and professionally developing communities are in place?

Then you are the one we are looking for for our infants.

Barnehuset Hørgården is a small institution with three infant groups and two preschool groups. With us there are fewer children in the groups and more adults per child in daily life.

We have the best playground with lots of greenery, large trees and plants. We are close to Amager Fælled and green areas with small allotments and wildlife. Inside we have new, well-designed and exciting learning environments, where we immerse ourselves and play with the children in smaller, planned groupings.

We are focused on the Safety Circle as the basis for our pedagogical work. Developing learning environments for the children are a central part of their daily life. We work with competence packs, where we apply the principles from 'space and learning' to create frames that support children’s communities and play, well-being and development.

We see outdoor life as a development space for the children. Therefore we gladly spend time on our well-arranged and large natural play area, where we both play, eat and plant in our herb gardens. We are close to green areas where we take long walks or cycle out into nature with packed lunches.

We have a close and well-functioning collaboration with parents, where we experience happy and secure parents.

We are part of Amager Cluster C, which consists of six institutions in total. In the cluster we have joint events with, among others, lectures from professional experts with the latest professional knowledge. We hold network meetings across the cluster, where coordinators from the individual units meet to work on, among other things, language development, and we have an educational committee focusing on pedagogical development work from the units as well as a network for student teachers and mentors.

Barnehuset Hørgården is located close to DR City, where it is easy to reach by metro and bus. We have free parking.

Employment terms

The positions are 37 hours per week or by agreement. We want you to be able to start in January 2027, but preferably earlier by agreement. Salary and employment terms according to current collective agreement and within the framework of local pay formation. In connection with the hires, we obtain child and criminal records checks and take references.
