Educators for Tønder District School - Upper Secondary School

We need more hands in both our general classes and in our special department, and we are therefore seeking two pedagogues or teaching assistants as soon as possible. One of the positions is permanent, and the other is temporary until the summer of 2027.

What is common for both areas is that you will support students with special support needs and an adapted learning environment. The positions involve engagement in wellbeing- and learning-promoting activities as well as the ability to tailor programs to individual students and/or groups with special needs. You will be responsible for planning and carrying out targeted programs as well as daily pedagogical support for the students.

You may have a special education degree and experience within the field of special education, but it is not a requirement. The most important is that you thrive with children facing challenges, and can and will help to develop and elevate them.

Tønder District School – Upper School is a branch school in Tønder District with approximately 300 students across grades 7–9. The school is located in the town of Tønder close to the centre.

For the last three years we have worked on a school development project “Participation opportunities for all”. The project continues with a subject-specific focus on Danish and mathematics.

Placement in the salary scale depends on experience, competence and relevant education.
