Two pedagogues sought for Børnehuset Petra in Hjallerup – 37 hours

Would you like to help create good childhoods in an integrated kindergarten, where play, relationships, curiosity and communities form the foundation for the children’s everyday life from the early years until school start?

Børnehuset Petra is seeking two pedagogues for 37 hours.

One position is fixed in the kindergarten and the other position is distributed across the entire house.

As part of the positions you will join the collaboration with SFO Stjernehuset, where we together create safe and coherent transitions for the children on their way to school life.

We are looking for pedagogues who see the whole child, believe in the importance of strong communities and want to actively contribute to the development of the children, colleagues and the house as a whole.

Who are we?

Børnehuset Petra is an integrated institution in Hjallerup with a nursery normed for 20 children and a kindergarten normed for 55 children.

Part of what makes Børnehuset Petra special is that we have the opportunity to follow the children through a large part of their early childhood and create coherent transitions from nursery to kindergarten and onwards toward school life.

We do not see nursery and kindergarten as separate units, but as one shared house with one common core task: To create the best conditions for children’s well-being, development, learning and formation.

We work from a holistic view of childhood, where we are attentive to the whole child and the communities the child is part of. We believe that children develop through secure relationships, play, curiosity, participation and meaningful experiences together with others.

We actively use our large and attractive playground, the surrounding nature and the local environment in our pedagogical practice and believe that many of the best learning and development opportunities arise when children are allowed to explore the world with their whole body and all senses.

We laugh together, help each other even on days when the snowsuit is lost, a child does not want to wear rain boots, or a plan has to change because the children’s tracks show a more exciting path.

Your tasks will include, among other things

Creating learning and play environments for all children regardless of life circumstances and needs.

Adjusting and adapting the learning environment based on the current group of children.

Working systematically with the child view, well-being monitoring, ICDP, KVALid and other professional tools.

Creating participation opportunities for all children.

Contributing to strong and trusting relationships with parents.

Translating professional reflections into daily action.

Contributing to the collaboration with SFO Stjernehuset regarding the transition to school.

Contributing to the development of the entire Børnehuset Petra.

We do not promise that you will learn all the children’s names in the first week. But we will help you get well on your way.
