Would you like to become part of a multidisciplinary team of pedagogues, therapists, speech-language therapists and a psychologist, who every day work to ensure that children with special needs experience a safe and meaningful everyday life? Do you want to be part of a team with a high proportion of professionally educated staff? Do you take responsibility and wish to have a strong influence?

Then you may be our new colleague.

Who are we?

The special day care Troldpilen is a special education day care (children’s law § 82, § 83 and § 85) normed to 28 children. We are seeking new colleagues for our work community in a specialized day care for children with special needs. We are a workplace characterized by high engagement, caring, empathetic colleagues, as well as a positive atmosphere and energy. We have a high proportion of professionally educated staff and a good collaboration with external partners – and not least with parents.

Does this sound like the workplace for you? Then come and be our new group teacher! As a fixed group teacher you take on the role of contact person for two to three children on your group.

Can you see yourself working with the target group of children aged 0-6 years with persistent general or extensive developmental disorders, including primarily autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, etc.? This wonderful and diverse group of children, currently between three and six years old, includes sensitive children with far-reaching motor, sensory, social and communicative challenges. What they all have in common is that they need massive support in daily life.

In close collaboration with the parents, the children are offered a calm and flexible environment, where an appreciative approach and the use of alternative communication methods form the framework for the children’s daily life.

As an educator at Troldpilen you will become a fixed part of a group team consisting of a total of three to four staff. As a contact educator you are responsible for the collaboration with the multidisciplinary team and the parents around two to four of the children. You are responsible for participating in meetings with the children's parents as well as writing status reports and action plans.

The staff group includes pedagogues, pedagogic assistants, physiotherapists and occupational therapists, as well as a groundskeeper team, kitchen and cleaning staff. In addition, we have close collaboration with a fixed speech and language consultant and a psychologist from BCK.

Our core task

We create the framework for children with special needs to have the best possible opportunities for well-being, development and learning to master life. We base our work on a targeted multidisciplinary approach based on each individual child’s specific needs and zone of proximal development.
