About the job
Are you a trained electrician with a strong technical mindset, and do you want to work in one of the green transition's most notable growth sectors? Do you thrive in a daily life with a high degree of freedom under responsibility, where you are part of shaping and optimizing the daily workflows? Then you are the person we are looking for on behalf of our client, Stena Recycling!
An unconventional and future-proof electrician role
In this role you avoid the traditional construction and installation tasks. Instead you become a key person in Stena's new, groundbreaking project around receiving, testing, unloading and recycling of electric vehicle batteries.
As the area is rapidly developing, we do not expect you to be an expert in high-voltage batteries from day one – Stena provides thorough training and professional upskilling. The most important is your professional curiosity, your high safety awareness and your commitment to taking responsibility for building a new field.
Your primary tasks
- Receiving, condition testing and registration of electric vehicle batteries from all over Denmark.
- Control and monitor safe discharging as well as energy management of high-voltage batteries.
- Precise disassembly and removal of battery packs down to module and cell level.
- Preparation of battery components for recycling, destruction or second-life use.
- Contribute to developing and optimizing safety routines, test equipment and daily workflows in the workshop.
What are we looking for in you?
- You are a trained electrician, automation technician or have a similar electrical-technical background.
- You have a high safety awareness and work in a structured and meticulous way.
- You thrive in a pioneer role where procedures and workflows are continually developed and adjusted.
- You take initiative naturally and are a good team player.
Stena offers
- A unique chance to build a specialist profile within an area of massive growth.
- A workplace with room to breathe, freedom under responsibility and strong camaraderie.
- Thorough training, relevant courses and ongoing competence development.
- Genuine freedom under responsibility and great time flexibility
¤practical info¤
- The salary is determined according to your qualifications and competencies
- Working hours are day shift - 07:00 - 15:15 Monday - Thursday and Friday 07:00 - 13:00 (Stena pays your break)
- The work is covered under Industriens Overenskomst
- The work takes place at Stena's location in Farum, but is expected to move to their location in Roskilde when the technical facility is up and running.
At Stena Recycling you become part of a workplace where your safety, security and well-being always come first. We offer a job with good rotation opportunities and helpful colleagues in a strong community, where quality and helpfulness are at the forefront. You get ample opportunity to take responsibility and develop personally as their department grows.
The position starts as a Try & Hire arrangement with good prospects for subsequent permanent employment for the right candidate. As an employee you will, of course, be provided with work clothes.
