About the job

Electromechanic / automation technician – strong in electricity, motors and fault finding

Can you make an electric motor run again when others see a problem? And do you thrive in a workday where electricity, mechanical, fault finding and good craftsmanship are central parts of the job?

Dansk Jobpartner is recruiting on behalf of A/S Elektro-Jørgensen in Randers for a skilled electromechanic / automation technician for an interesting and varied daily life with repair, service, fault finding and customer contact.

At Elektro-Jørgensen you will become part of a company with more than 100 years of experience in electromechanical craftsmanship, where professionalism, practical problem solving and quality are important parts of everyday life.

Your tasks

Your day will be varied, and tasks will include among others

•

Winding and repair of electric motors

•

Repair and maintenance of machines

•

Repair and service of motors, gears and pumps

•

Electrical and mechanical fault finding

•

Diagnostics and assessment of defective components

•

Dismantling, repair, assembly and testing

•

Work with motors and frequency converters

•

Sales and purchasing in connection with daily tasks

•

Customer contact and technical dialogue about tasks and solutions

You will therefore use both your hands, your technical understanding and your ability to find the right solution.

Who are you?

We envision primarily that you have a relevant electrical trade background – preferably as an electromechanic or automation technician in the electrical industry.

You may also have another relevant technical or electrical trade education if you have the practical experience with electric motors, repair and electromechanical work.

It is important that you

•

Have strong electrical trade competencies

•

Have solid mechanical understanding

•

Have experience with or knowledge of winding motors

•

Can work systematically with fault finding

•

Can see the connection between electrical and mechanical faults

•

Are practical and can work independently with your tasks

•

Are punctual and responsible

•

Are flexible and collaborative

•

Have a good mood and contribute positively to everyday life

Since the job also involves customer contact, it is important that you can talk to customers at eye level and help find a good solution to their problem.

A workday with variety

At Elektro-Jørgensen, it is not necessarily the same type of task on the workbench every day.

One task may be an electromechanical motor that needs fault finding and repair, while the next may involve a gear, a pump or a machine that needs to be brought back into operation.

This means you get the opportunity to use a broad part of your professional skills and work with tasks where experience, curiosity and good craftsmanship make a real difference.

The company also offers 24-hour service, so overtime may occur in connection with night service. The details of the on-call arrangement will be discussed during the recruitment process.
