Dedicated and skilled Danish teacher for maternity leave cover

Løjtegårdsskolen is seeking an engaged and skilled Danish teacher as of December 1, 2026. The position is a maternity leave replacement for 30 hours.

You will be the Danish teacher for 3rd year. If you can also teach English and visual arts, that would be really good

Løjtegårdsskolen has 806 happy and energetic students from 0-9th grade, spread across 3-4 streams, 60 teaching colleagues and 50 pedagogues, all of whom are collaborative, skilled and engaged. We are a public school located in the sweet spot between nature and the city, with a wealth of possibilities for your teaching planning.

The school has a strong collegial community and a high academic standard. We are organized into phase, year-group and subject teams. We work with a focus on well-being and variation in teaching, and regard good parent collaboration as a prerequisite for students' development.

We are a green school, which in addition to working with green and sustainable topics also works with democracy and citizenship. Both are driven through our environmental council and student council.

We work with the digital learning platform MinUddannelse and we are working towards professional learning communities, which are meant to create a stronger basis for professional sparring and reflection.

Salary and employment terms

The appointment is made in accordance with the current agreement with the Danish Teachers’ Union after negotiation.

The municipality's recruitment policy entails that references are obtained from previous and current workplaces at the time of hiring. If you have been employed in Tårnby Municipality, a reference will always be taken from there. In addition, a criminal record certificate must be presented and a children’s/vetting certificate must be obtained. The employment will be conditional on these being satisfactory.
