ENGDALSKOLEN SEEKS TWO RELATIONSHIP-BUILDING TEACHERS FOR TWO PERMANENT POSITIONS IN MATHEMATICS, SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY, PHYSICAL EDUCATION AS WELL AS CRAFTS AND DESIGN FOR THE MIDDLE YEAR GROUPS AND IN EARLY PRIMARY EDUCATION

Are you an academically well-founded teacher with strong relational skills who is passionate about making a difference for children and their school life? Then you are the one we are looking for!

We are seeking two engaged teachers as of 1 November 2026 (or as soon as possible thereafter), primarily with main subject specializations in mathematics and science. In addition, it would be good if you also have crafts and design and/or physical education as your main subjects.

The position at the middle school is a full-time position, where you will be attached to two classes in Year 4 as a form teacher. You will teach mathematics, science/technology and in addition take care of crafts and design for Year 4 and Year 6, as well as a few physical education hours at the middle school.

The position for the early years is an 80% appointment, with the possibility in time to increase to 100%. The position will include roughly the same subjects and also a class teacher function as in the above position, but the overall content of the position has not yet been clarified.

Both teachers will become part of an experienced and close-knit year-group team, where collaboration, professionalism and community go hand in hand.

About Engdalskolen

Engdalskolen is a diverse and attractive public school with about 1,050 students. The school is organized so that you are anchored in 0.-5./6. year group or 5./6.-9. year group to support smooth transitions for the pupils.

The school is located in a scenic area in Gl. Brabrand – close to forest, lake and Brabrandstien – and has about 70 teachers and 30 pedagogues.

Salary and terms of employment

Salary and terms of employment will be in accordance with the applicable collective agreement. Final salary determination will take place after negotiation with the bargaining professional organization based on qualifications, unless the position is covered by a pre-agreement that can form the basis for the salary setting
