EKJ seeks an intern for the Roads group in EKJ’s Business Area Environment, Road and Climate with start in January/February 2027

Do you want an internship period full of learning experiences, and do you want to test your abilities as an engineering consultant within road design, then now is your opportunity to apply.

As an intern in EKJ Rådgivende Ingeniørers Business Area Environment, Road and Climate (head office on Østerbro, Copenhagen) you will become a natural part of our project team within road design. You will have the chance to test your competences on real projects and thus get a good sense of what it means to work as a consultant within the field. You will be a natural part of the project team and will participate in collaboration to solve tasks both in central Copenhagen and in the rest of the country. We expect you to start with us in January/February 2027.

Right now we are, among other things, working on the restoration of roads in Copenhagen and renovation of streets and pavements around Danske Bank's former headquarters at Kongens Nytorv. You will take an active role in the projects, where your contribution makes a difference.

At EKJ you will experience a high professional level and in connection with your internship you will have the opportunity to test your knowledge on real projects. You will gain insight into the department's other work with environmental surveys, authorities' permits, sustainability, occupational safety, building contamination m.m.

A VARIED INTERNSHIP PERIOD

You will take on an active role in the projects, where your contribution helps finish our projects. At EKJ you will not be left to yourself, as you will collaborate with the person responsible for the projects and agree your tasks. ABOUT YOU

• You are currently studying to become a road and civil engineer
• You are curious and capable of working independently
• You place high value on good collaboration with colleagues and other partners.
• You are conscientious, flexible and able to say yes and no.
• You take responsibility for your own tasks and want to be part of the team.
• You have knowledge of IT tools such as Bentley Open Roads, the Office suite and preferably some GIS programs
