Engineering specialist – water and environment

As a discipline engineer with us you will have a varied day-to-day with exciting drainage and civil engineering projects for both public and private clients. You will become part of a developing department where, depending on your experience and competences, you can contribute as a discipline engineer or take on responsibility as a discipline- or project manager. In both roles you will join strong professional communities where we help each other, share knowledge and collaborate across both the department and Artelia's other areas of expertise.

Your primary tasks

• You contribute to projects within drainage and infrastructure, both smaller tasks and larger multidisciplinary projects
• You will supervise the projects where you have provided advisory services
• You work with design and preparation of technical material, including tender documents
• You collaborate closely with colleagues, project teams and other disciplines at Artelia
• You contribute to professional development, knowledge sharing and quality in the solutions from design to execution

Depending on your experience you may take on responsibility for technical coordination, project management and dialogue with clients and project owners.

Your profile

• You are a trained engineer, preferably with a specialization in drainage
• You preferably have 3-5 years of experience within the drainage area and with design related to drainage and infrastructure
• You have previously worked with the preparation of tender material
• You thrive in project teams and actively contribute to good collaboration
• You are quality-conscious, responsible and work in a structured way
• You are keen on professional and personal development and on sharing knowledge with your colleagues
• You speak and understand Danish, and good English skills are an advantage.

You will become part of the Drainage & Infrastructure department, which is part of the Infrastructure business unit and locally based in Næstved. Nationally, Artelia has about 300 employees in the infrastructure domain, and we collaborate closely across the offices. You will therefore have many colleagues with strong competences in, among other things, drainage technology, design, remediation planning, hydrology and modelling, climate adaptation, traffic planning, road design, geotechnics, bridges, railways, nature, sustainability and environment.
