We are looking for you who want to work with contract and procurement law in a municipal context. We are looking for you who pay attention to details, dare to ask questions, and insist on quality.

You will, in collaboration with the department's other contract lawyer, advise project managers and colleagues across the organisation on complex procurement and contract law issues. You will help ensure solid and legally compliant frameworks for the municipality's many building and construction projects.

You will become part of a department that – besides you – comprises 10 skilled colleagues. The department handles many different tasks including procurement, contracting, CSR and Controlling. The working environment is characterised by a varied daily routine with challenging, high‑level tasks. You will become part of a department where the social aspect is highly valued. The job

You participate in cross‑disciplinary project teams that implement procurement, tenders and requests for proposals for technical advice and contracts. You handle disputes either yourself or via an external lawyer. In addition, you assist as a legal sparring partner for the municipality's construction technicians.

Your primary tasks will be

• Advising on contract law and procurement law in connection with projects
• Preparation and review of contracts (AB 18, ABR 18, ABT 18, etc.)
• Handling dispute resolution
• Collaboration with project managers and professionals
• Contributing to the development of processes and ensuring compliance

The position is based in Procurement and Purchasing with reference to the head of department Frederik Dahl-Hansen. Procurement and Purchasing is organisationally placed with its own area directly under the centre manager in the Centre for Economics and Properties.

Who are you?

We imagine that you are

• Educated cand.jur. or cand.merc.jur. with knowledge of – and preferably some experience with – contract law and at the same time curious about procurement processes, or
• Contractor, adviser or professional with solid understanding of AB(R)18 and a desire to dive into procurement law, contract law and the legal frameworks.

In addition, you are motivated by ensuring the legal frameworks are in place. The job requires you to be able to render complex law clear and usable so that your colleagues and partners can act effectively and securely.

At the same time you thrive in an environment where dialogue and cross‑disciplinary collaboration are central, and where you work closely with technicians, project managers and other professional groups. As a person you are curious, detail‑oriented and interested in ensuring a solid legal foundation for your recommendations and decisions. You navigate safely through rules and frameworks with the aim of finding a well‑founded and long‑lasting solution. In this context you have an eye for the interaction between legal, commercial and political considerations that shape municipal work.

Salary and terms of employment

The position is 37 hours per week and you are employed under the current collective agreement. Salary is determined on the basis of your experience and qualifications.

Your workplace is located at the Town Hall in the heart of the old and beautiful Helsingør – close to the pedestrian street and near public transport. Home working can also be arranged to some extent.
