Are you strong in environmental, documentation and practical follow-up on construction or civil engineering projects? We are seeking an engaged Environmental Profile / Environmental Coordinator for our client in Region North Jutland, where you will take responsibility for environmental requirements, documentation and coordination in a larger project organization.

About the position

As a Environmental Profile / Environmental Coordinator you will be responsible for supporting the project with environmental management, authority requirements, documentation and practical on-site follow-up.

The role requires a structured profile that can both work with documentation and be close enough to the execution to ensure that environmental requirements are followed in practice.

You will among other things work with

• Environmental management in the project

You follow up on environmental requirements, permits, project requirements and relevant procedures.

• Environmental documentation

You ensure that environmental conditions are documented correctly and timely throughout the project.

• Environmental inspections on site

You conduct environmental inspections and follow up on matters related to among others soil, water, dust, noise and waste.

• Authority dialogue and requirement follow-up

You contribute to coordination with relevant authorities and ensure that requirements are handled correctly.

• Collaboration with subcontractors

You ensure that subcontractors work according to applicable environmental and documentation requirements.

You will have a role where your ability to combine expertise, structure and practical project understanding becomes decisive.

Your profile

We would like you to have the following qualifications

• Relevant environmental academic background

For example as an environmental technician, environmental coordinator, engineer, biologist, geologist or similar.

• Experience with environment on construction or civil projects

You have experience with environmental requirements, documentation and practical follow-up in project environments.

• Familiarity with environmental requirements and permits

You understand authority requirements and can translate them into practical follow-up.

• Structured documentation work

You can ensure an overview of environmental data, reporting, status and deviations.

• Good collaboration skills

You can work closely with project management, production, subcontractors and authorities.

• Ability to speak and understand Danish

You can understand instructions, safety, meetings and daily communication in Danish in the project.

As a person you are thorough, independent and solution-oriented. You understand that the environment must not become an afterthought in the execution, but must be actively managed throughout the entire project.

Workplace and practical conditions

• Workplace is in Region North Jutland .
• The role will be attached to both project office and on-site activities.
• Expected start is from October 2026 or by agreement.
• Duration is expected to be up to six months to a year from the execution phase.
