ENVIRONMENTAL SCREENER WANTED FOR NEMSCREENING

We are busy and are therefore seeking another environmental screener for our team.

At NemScreening we work with environmental screening and mapping of buildings in connection with renovation and demolition. We are looking for a person who thrives with an independent workday in the field, where you drive out to construction sites and customers and work in a structured way with environmental screening, documentation and reporting.

Your main tasks will be

• Inspection and environmental screening of buildings
• Sampling and recording of material samples
• Identification of potentially problematic substances and materials
• Photographic documentation and recording
• Preparation of environmental screening and mapping reports
• Dialogue with customers, contractors and colleagues
• Planning and handling of your own cases from start to finish

We imagine that you

• Have construction technical or environmental expertise – preferably from the construction or demolition industry
• Have an understanding of buildings, structures and materials
• Work independently and in a structured manner
• Are good at customer contact
• Have a driver's license
• Can work digitally and document your work properly
• Thrive on long workdays and a daily life where you are on the move a lot
• Are prepared that, in connection with tasks, there may be a need to overnight away

Experience with environmental screening, asbestos, PCB, lead and other environmentally problematic substances is a clear advantage, but the right practical and building-technical background can be just as interesting.

Working hours and company car

The position is 37 hours per week spread over 3 working days. That means longer and intensive days – but you typically have 4 days off per week.

Work takes place in the field, and you drive directly to the tasks from your home address. You will be assigned a company car, which is used in connection with the work.

We solve tasks in different places in the country, and therefore we expect you to be flexible and able to overnight away when the location and planning require it.
