About the job
The Health Service Quality Institute (SundK) seeks a strong analyst for data-supported and evidence-based quality development across the health service - with a focus on heart diseases and chronic diseases.
Would you like to contribute to strengthening quality in the Danish health system? We are looking for an engaged colleague who will help develop a more data-based, targeted and effective quality work across the health service's sectors and actors - to the benefit of patients and citizens in Denmark.
You will play a central role in driving, analyzing, interpreting and communicating results from the clinical quality databases - and contribute to translating insights into concrete quality improvements across the health service. The work is carried out in close collaboration with health professionals, management, patients and other key stakeholders with the common goal of ensuring high and consistent quality in assessment, treatment and follow-up for patients.
The position provides an opportunity to influence and develop the effort for people with chronic disease - currently among others by supporting the implementation of care pathways for people with chronic disease (chronic care packages) and monitoring the spread of the packages to the relevant patient groups and the impact on patient quality.
About the job
You will be employed in the Quality Unit A, where the focus is on the cardiac area, musculoskeletal area and chronic diseases. The unit consists of about 20 employees, who work broadly with SundK’s core tasks: clinical guidelines, admission guidelines, analyses and assessments, patient safety work and clinical quality databases.
As an epidemiologist you contribute with analytical competencies in SundK and will have a varied everyday life with good opportunities to contribute to the development of both the institute's and the quality unit's work to strengthen quality, equality and coherence in the pathways for people with chronic diseases.
You will be attached to the Clinical Quality Bases function and will in daily life work closely with, among others, data managers and quality consultants on the development and operation of several clinical quality databases. You will become part of steering groups in selected quality databases, where you collaborate with health professionals, management representatives and patients on data-supported quality development.
In the steering groups you contribute to identifying and discussing central quality challenges and choosing tools to address them. In continuation, you will contribute to a suitable build-up of quality databases, including the establishment of relevant and robust quality indicators that can illuminate central quality challenges.
Additionally you will work with analysis and interpretation of data as well as communication of knowledge and recommendations to support concrete quality improvements within specific disease areas and interventions.
We offer
- a dynamic organization in rapid development
- an opportunity to influence the development of treatment quality for people with chronic disease

- Contributing to translating research and evidence into practice-oriented recommendations
- Ensuring progress in guideline projects in close collaboration with the professional environments
- Contributing to further development of methods, processes and tools in guideline work
- Participating in cross-cutting collaborations with among others quality consultants and epidemiologists in SundK on quality, data and improvement of patient pathways.

- collaborating with colleagues on quality development and prioritization in the health service, including the preparation of admission guidelines, clinical guidelines, analyses and assessments
