About the job

We are seeking an EPJ coordinator for a maternity leave cover starting on 1 December for a new cross-department EPJ coordination team, which will cover the entire psychiatry at Aarhus University Hospital.

The position is intended to be filled on 1 December 2026 or as agreed.

We have established a team of 3 EPJ coordinators that operate across Child, Adolescent, and Adult Psychiatry. We want a robust team that can collaborate to solve tasks across all 4 psychiatric departments. By bringing the coordinators together in one team, we hope to create space for sparring, common and uniform task solving, and the possibility to allocate additional resources if a department temporarily faces greater challenges that need to be addressed.

The purpose of the team is to ensure a more flexible and efficient task solving across the departments while also creating a better working environment for the individual EPJ coordinators. This is achieved by having you join a team with peers rather than being the sole EPJ coordinator in each department.

As an EPJ coordinator, you will formally be employed in the Department of Depression and Anxiety but may receive tasks directly from the other departmental management in Psychiatry.

The Psychiatry at Aarhus University Hospital consists of the Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Department, Department of Forensic Psychiatry, Department of Psychoses, and Department of Depression and Anxiety, and comprises a total of about 2,200 employees across the departments.

Tasks

  • have overarching responsibility for the department's overall use of EPJ. You must also function as the link between the departments and Health IT and internally within the departments be the link to the EPJ contact persons
  • in collaboration with the departmental management and the departments' quality coordinators, help ensure a consistent, efficient and quality-supported use of EPJ
  • assume responsibility for coordinating the implementation and anchoring of new functionality in EPJ in collaboration with the departmental management and the function managers
  • contribute to further developing the use of EPJ and support and develop workflows in collaboration with the departmental and functional management
  • be responsible for ensuring that EPJ emergency procedures are known by all, that the EPJ configuration is updated, and that change requests are communicated to Health IT
  • be responsible for EPJ usage support, training and competence development in collaboration with the EPJ contact persons in the departments.

We expect that you

  • have/obtain knowledge of relevant guidelines and legislation, including the EPJ manual, the Health Act, the Psychiatry Act, the Social Services Act and the Journalkeeping Regulations
  • have or quickly gain in-depth knowledge of the departments' organization and workflows
  • have broad knowledge of EPJ and integrated systems
  • have experience with implementation processes, projects and project management
  • have organizational understanding
  • have good collaboration skills
  • have strong communication and pedagogical skills
  • have a health professional background combined with IT knowledge, which will be an advantage in daily work with clinicians and in understanding workflows
  • clinical experience from psychiatry is advantageous.

We offer

  • a high degree of influence on task solving and the planning of the work
  • close collaboration with departmental and functional management in the 4 departments
  • engaged employees
  • salary according to the applicable collective agreement.

Salary and employment terms in accordance with the applicable collective agreement. The employment is conditional on a satisfactory child and adult criminal record check and a satisfactory authorization.
