Are you a food-loving chef who wants to make children stronger with healthy and challenging everyday meals?

We are seeking an experienced, creative and engaged cook for our lovely preschool/childcare house as of 1/11 or as soon as possible

You will become part of a team with the institution's 2 other kitchen staff, but it is you who are responsible for drawing up meal plans and complying with the budget.

The kitchen is a major part of Børnehuset Frederiksvej, and we collaborate to unite the kitchen with themes and much more. We are looking for a cook with the courage to be part of a large house, with staff who enjoy brainstorming, food-loving children, and who have good ideas to create great food experiences for children.

We are an integrated 0-6 year day care facility located on Frederiksvej in Frederiksberg consisting of 3 kindergarten groups and 6 baby groups, and 2 in forest kindergarten.

We live in a large beautiful house (from 2015) with large windows and high ceilings. We have Solbjerg Park Cemetery and the 'green path' as neighbours and are thus free from heavy traffic but with easy access to green areas.

We have some lovely children and a positive parent group. We have families from all over the world, so we have many children who are 2-3 languages.

We are a house focused on 'body and movement'. This means that in all activities we do in the house, we pay attention to children developing with the body first.

We are a close-knit workplace with management close by and who are not afraid to help in the classrooms. The door to the office is always open and you are welcome at any time, unless there is a meeting sign on the door. The management consists of a head and a deputy. You will have management that is visible, engaged, responsive, reflective and decisive.

We are a diverse and inclusive staff group that is good at collaborating and that has a good understanding of each other. We see ourselves as one house with regard to the distribution of resources for holidays, courses and illness. Practically, this means that in addition to using our good fixed substitutes, we keep an eye on and help each other as needed in daily life.

We are one united house where the baby room, kindergarten and kitchen work together to create a fun, safe, exciting and inspiring everyday life with room for all children and adults.
