Our previous recruitment did not lead to an appointment, and therefore we are again seeking a skilled technical service manager for Fælleshåbsskolen with a start date of 1 December 2026. About the job

As technical service manager you will have overall responsibility for the school's technical operations, maintenance and service functions. You will become a central part of the school's daily life and work closely with management, teachers, pedagogues and external partners. The position is both practical and coordinating, and you should thrive in a varied workday where you both solve concrete tasks and plan for the longer term.

Your tasks will include

• Responsible for operation and maintenance of buildings, outdoor areas and technical installations.
• Planning and follow-up on maintenance tasks and projects.
• Contact with craftsmen and external suppliers.
• Ensuring compliance with applicable rules within work environment, fire and safety.
• Procurement within your own area.
• Practical help at events and daily operation at the school.
• Involvement of the school's students in practical tasks.

We expect that you

• Have a relevant craftsman or technical background.
• Have experience with operation and maintenance of buildings.
• Have knowledge of work environment and safety regulations.
• Are structured, responsible and good at planning.
• Have good collaboration skills and a service-oriented approach.
• Can work independently and take initiative.

About us

We are a public school with about 565 students (525 in the regular program and 40 in the special offer) and a before- and after-school care (SFO) with about 300 children in grades 0–6. At Fælleshåbsskolen we place high value on good collegial cooperation at department-, year-group- and class-level. We have high ceilings and a shared focus: to create physical and pedagogical frameworks for our wonderful students. We are located close to both Vejle and Fredericia - near forest and beach.

Terms of employment

This is a permanent full-time position with start date 1 December 2026 or as soon as possible thereafter.

Information about starting salary

Employment is in accordance with the collective agreement for technical service, §§ 3-6 on wage setting. The expected starting full-time salary excluding pension lies in the range 30,479 – 34,366 DKK. Please note that final placement, including the collective agreement basis and salary level, will be determined based on your education and qualifications and the specific offered position.
