MerVib seeks qualified staff for our children and youth homes in Herrestrup and Grevinge.

A child or a young person comes with experiences, interests and hopes - and often with others' stories, which over time can become fixed truths about who they are.

At MerVib we are curious about the child's own experience: What is important? What works? And what may we adults have overlooked?

You should be eager to bring that curiosity to work.

That is our approach

At our four children and youth homes we work for children and young people to experience safety, belonging and influence over their own lives.

Our narrative approach shapes how we speak with and about the children. We examine our own assumptions and, together with the child, identify skills, initiatives and hope. The child's perspective should help shape our support.

You work with clear structure, professional care and relationships – both in groups and in solo tasks with 1:1 support.

We expect that you

• Have relevant professional education and experience with children and young people in vulnerable positions.
• Have knowledge of and experience with autism, ADHD and neglect.
• Have experience with or an interest in Narrative Practice and TEACCH.
• Are curious about the child's perspective and can adapt the support within safe, clear boundaries.
• Work from a Low Arousal approach, take responsibility, document systematically and be open to professional sparring.

Our annual cycle includes internal and external training as well as professional presentations throughout the year . In addition you will receive close managerial sparring and supervision.

The practical

• Fixed full-time positions with 12-hour day shifts, 24-hour on-call shifts and weekend work.
• Relevant education: e.g. pedagogue, social pedagogue, pedagogical assistant, social and health care assistant, nurse, social worker, teacher or another relevant social or pedagogical education.
• Workplace: Herrestrup and Grevinge · MerVib ApS.
• Conditions: Salary and start date by agreement, pension and health insurance.
• Requirements: Driving license (B). Child and criminal record certificates to be obtained before hire.
