Boligforeningen AAB, afdeling 37, is seeking a gardener / green property technician for a permanent 37-hour-per-week position with start date 1 December 2026 or as soon as possible.

A job where you can make a difference

As a gardener with us, you will play an important role in keeping our department green, neat and inviting for residents.

You will be part of a team of six in total; you are two gardeners who help each other, but there is also room to work independently. You will have the opportunity to plan and influence a large part of your own tasks, and we emphasize that you can see a task and get it resolved.

We have an informal tone, and it is important to us that it is pleasant to go to work.

Your tasks

Your workdays will be varied, but the green work will be an important part of the job.

You will, among other things, work with

• Care and maintenance of the department's green areas
• Planting, pruning and other horticultural work - Maintenance and preparation of outdoor areas
• Cleaning of outdoor areas and common areas - Maintenance of lawn robots.
• Snow clearing and anti-slip measures, 5-6 weekly shifts per winter.
• Minor repairs and practical tasks in connection with resident services
• Handling of waste at the bulky waste area.
• Occasional property tasks as agreed with the leading property technician

You will also have contact with the department's residents. Therefore it is important to us that you are service-minded and meet people in a proper and welcoming manner.

We are looking for someone who

• Is educated as a gardener or has equivalent experience and qualifications.
• Has experience with care and maintenance of green areas.
• Has an interest in sustainability.
• Thrives working independently and taking responsibility.
• Is good at prioritizing your tasks and following them through.
• Wants a varied working day
• Is service-minded and has a positive approach to residents and colleagues.
• Contributes to a good work environment and a positive atmosphere in daily life.
• Has a driver's license for tractor and preferably for a car
• Has a certificate for hot work or is willing to obtain it.

It is an advantage if you have knowledge of general building maintenance and are familiar with IT, but the most important is your practical experience, your engagement and your enthusiasm for the job.

You must be prepared to participate in the department's snow emergency response. There may also be work outside normal working hours in connection with, for example, resident activities and meetings.
