Job Description & Summary
Do you have solid experience with accounting, reconciliations and reporting, and are you passionate about making everyday life more digital for customers? As an accountant you ensure stable operation and drive smart, digital development for small and medium-sized enterprises. If you want to help create quality and overview in the customer’s finance function, we look forward to hearing from you.
Welcome to Bogføringscenter Vest, where we help companies across industries and levels of complexity
In Bogføringscenter Vest we help our customers outsource all or part of their finance function. Our aim is that our customers, with peace of mind, can focus on what they are good at and passionate about – namely to run and develop their business. In our department we work with a broad portfolio of small and medium-sized businesses across industries and complexity. You will have the opportunity for a broad and varied task portfolio with focus on the customer type and industry that is most interesting for you.
In addition you will leave a solid mark on the digital development across the entire Bogføringscenter Vest. You will become part of a professionally strong and informal community, where we spar with each other, share knowledge about new digital possibilities and help each other reach our goals – even when the pace is high at times. You will have access to a large professional network across PwC Denmark and thereby plenty of personal and professional development opportunities.
Work with bookkeeping, client dialogue and digital development
As an experienced bookkeeper you will be responsible for the ongoing operations for your clients as well as the driving force in developing and digitalizing their finance function. You will have close client contact, a high degree of independence and the opportunity to influence both processes and solutions.
Your tasks will mainly consist of
- Ensure daily bookkeeping, accounts receivable and accounts payable management, and ongoing reconciliations for your clients
- Prepare period end balances, reporting and prepare materials for the auditor in connection with the year-end close
- Advise clients on workflows, processes and possibilities in their financial systems
- Drive and implement optimization and digitization of clients' finance function, e.g., new system solutions, integrations and automation of manual tasks
- Onboard new clients
- Be a professional sparring partner for colleagues, including training of younger or new colleagues
Bring your experience with bookkeeping and your digital mindset into play
We are looking for an experienced profile who both has control of the detail in bookkeeping and a view of how we can do things smarter for the benefit of both customers, colleagues and PwC.
We know that you cannot know everything in advance, but it is important to us that you can recognise yourself in the following description:
- You have several years of experience in a role as bookkeeper, accounting consultant, controller or similar – preferably with responsibility for your own client portfolio
- You are strong in bookkeeping, reconciliations, VAT and reporting
- You have experience with or a strong interest in digital solutions and automation e.g. e‑conomic, Corpay and Pleo, and you enjoy learning new systems and integrations
- You thrive in client dialogue and can translate numbers, data and systems into a language the client understands
- You work in a structured way, take responsibility and follow tasks through – even when there are many deadlines at once
Grow here. Go further.
As a part of PwC you are both part of a market success and a place that is nice to be. It is in the interaction between the two that trust arises, you learn new things and develop. Together with your colleagues you help create innovative solutions for business life and the society we all are a part of.
Would you like to be part of our strong community?
