On behalf of Staermose Industry we are currently seeking a skilled and engaged project manager for the steel business. As project manager you will join a well-functioning team of eight colleagues, all looking forward to welcoming you. Together we help machine manufacturers and customers in the metal and construction industry realize their wishes and needs. This happens through close dialogue with customers, subcontractors and production, and you will therefore have an important role in the entire order processing.

Your working day at Staermose Industry

Staermose Industry is characterized by a high degree of freedom with responsibility, and you will therefore have great influence on how you plan your workday. You report to the CFO / sales responsible and in daily work will handle the entire order process, from the customer's first inquiry to the finished product delivered. Your day will thus offer many diverse tasks.

Your primary tasks will include

• Project management of the entire order process, including coordination with the office, production, subcontractors, and customers
• Calculation and bidding on customer-specific tasks, including material estimation, time consumption and process descriptions
• Order confirmation as well as creation and processing of orders
• Ensuring that orders are production-ready with the right basis, drawings, etc., based on close dialogue with the customer
• Contact with subcontractors and obtaining quotes regarding further processing of parts

Your workday will be at the office in Odder with the possibility of remote work.

Who are you?

There are several entry paths to the project manager position, but we imagine that you have a metalworking background such as a blacksmith, industrial technician or toolmaker combined with a higher education as production technologist, designer or technical designer.

You preferably have 2-3 years of experience from a similar position, and you are professionally sharp and eager to develop yourself and learn new things. The computer is your primary working tool, and you are therefore an experienced user of the Office suite, and you can work with 3D files in Inventor or SolidWorks at user level.

As a person you are independent and responsible, and you are very focused on delivering good customer service. The customer experiences this by your being engaged, proactive and solution-oriented, just as you have attention to detail and a good overview. You use your strong technical expertise and are happy to share proposals and knowledge – both with your colleagues, and if it can optimize the customer's solution. You will have a dynamic everyday life with many diverse tasks, and where there is great development both internally and externally.
