About the job

Do you want to lead one of the Taxation and Growth Ministry's central digital transformations, where the systems supporting our internal finance and administrative processes must be modernized? Are you also an experienced project manager with strong business understanding, who is always one step ahead and masters the challenging art of driving change across stakeholders? Then it's you we're looking for!

Over the coming three years we will undertake a major replacement of the systems that support the Taxation and Growth Ministry's (SVMN) internal finance- and administration processes. We will move from the current SAP platform to Common Digital Solutions (FDL) and thereby implement a number of new shared solutions for, among other things, finance, accounting, HR and time registration. It is The Financial Administration (ØS) that operates and develops the FDL systems.

The project is technically complex, but the greatest complexity lies elsewhere: to get a large and diverse organization on board and ensure that the new solutions are well anchored in the business. And that is where you come in.

You will become the project manager in the Administration and Service Agency (ADST), which has the overall responsibility for the implementation in SVMN. You are part of the overall project management between ØS and ADST. You will have a special responsibility for the connection between the project and the business across the group, which in addition to the Tax Administration's seven agencies also includes the ministry's department, the IT Supervisory Authority, the Tax Appeals Board and the Gaming Authority.

Your tasks

As project manager you are the linking element between sub-projects and the business in SVMN. You are the project's outward facing face and work closely with project managers from SVMN and ØS, other assistant project managers, the PMO and the project's workstream leads.

Your primary task will be to ensure a close and coordinated collaboration in the project as well as ensure progress and results. This means, among other things, that you shall:

  • be the central point of contact and build relationships to directorates/agencies, business areas and local project organizations,
  • coordinate clarifications, workshops and activities across the organization and the project's different workstreams,
  • collect needs and concerns from the business and ensure that the steering committees have the right picture of the situation,
  • contribute to change management and communication so that the right information reaches the right people at the right time,
  • collaborate with the PMO on follow-up, coordination and the preparation of material for the steering committees and the executive management.

An important part of the role is to ensure progress and to be able to see connections across . If a problem arises somewhere, you should be able to assess whether it might also affect other places – and ensure that there are solutions with involvement of the relevant people.

Your path into the role

You have experience with project management of larger transformation projects in complex organizations, where you have achieved results across organizations, disciplines and organizational levels. You have a relevant project manager education or certification with you.

It is also important that you have

  • strong business, IT and system understanding, so you can bridge the business needs and the technical solutions and contribute with proposed solutions
  • experience in supporting project and steering groups, including preparing decision briefs, status materials and other project documentation
  • experience in facilitating workshops and meetings, as well as systematic follow-up on agreements
  • knowledge of finance and administration processes, ideally including familiarity with SAP, FDL or other ERP systems.

You are motivated by getting people to collaborate across professional boundaries and translate complex issues into concrete action. You are structured, communicate clearly and keep an overview, even when things move fast, just as you naturally take ownership and dare to challenge the existing with a diplomatic approach.

A little about us

You will be employed by the Administration and Service Agency. We are an agency that supports the Taxation and Growth Ministry with high-quality service and efficient administration.

You will be part of the Office of Financial Systems, which handles process and system support for SVMN's internal financial systems. The FDL project is anchored in the office and your closest colleagues are part of the project. Likewise you will in daily work collaborate with colleagues from the Development and Simplification Agency as well as the Financial Administration in the project.
