About the job

Occupational therapist sought for Stadiongruppen

Are you passionate about everyday rehabilitation, and are you motivated to make a real difference for citizens with complex needs? Do you thrive in close interdisciplinary collaboration, where professionalism, equality and shared reflection are at the center? Then you may be our new occupational therapist in Stadiongruppen.

We are looking for an occupational therapist for a varied and meaningful job with start on December 1, 2026.

About Stadiongruppen

In Stadiongruppen you will become part of an engaged staff group of around 100 colleagues composed of social and health helpers, social- and health assistants, nurses, therapists as well as trainees and students.

One of the things that makes our workplace special is the close and equal collaboration across professions. We share an office across professions, which creates a strong collegial community and good opportunities for daily sparring and joint development. For us, it is natural to use each other’s different perspectives for the benefit of the citizens.

Our citizens at the center

Rehabilitation is the foundation of our work and our collaboration with citizens. We meet people in different life situations and adapt our efforts to each individual’s wishes, resources and needs.

We are part of the process Persistent disease progression and work primarily with citizens in the northern and northwestern part of Odense. Many of our citizens live with diseases such as dementia, Parkinson’s or multiple sclerosis, and therefore relationships, continuity and interdisciplinary collaboration are central elements in our work.

As a therapist you often follow citizens through longer courses and have the opportunity to really get to know them and their daily lives. Together with the citizen, the relatives and your colleagues you help create the best possible framework for quality of life, independence and a dignified everyday life.

About the job

You will become part of a therapy team consisting of one occupational therapy colleague and three physiotherapists. At the same time you will be an important part of a fixed multidisciplinary team where collaboration, sparring and shared reflection are a natural part of daily life.

With us we value small progress. Many of our citizens are frail or live with dementia, and therefore rehabilitation often involves creating security, maintaining functions and supporting the small everyday victories that can have great significance for the individual.

Your tasks will include

  • Everyday rehabilitation in the citizens’ own homes and in nursing homes
  • Rehabilitation after the Elderly Act, the Social Services Act and the Health Act
  • Assessment and testing of assistive devices
  • Interdisciplinary coordination and sparring
  • Teaching and guidance of colleagues in, among other things, transfers, working positions and assistive devices
  • Collaboration with citizens, relatives and external partners

About you

We expect that you

  • Are a trained occupational therapist
  • Thrive with both independent work and close interdisciplinary collaboration
  • Are confident in your professionality and at the same time curious about others’ perspectives
  • Think creatively and see possibilities rather than limitations
  • Have an interest in or experience with the dementia field
  • Have knowledge of assistive devices and their use
  • Can keep an overview in a day when plans sometimes change
  • Contribute positively to both professionalism and community
  • Have FOTT training or knowledge of dysphagia
  • Have good IT skills and preferably experience with Nexus

We offer

With us you get the opportunity to follow the citizens over time and work with the whole person rather than single interventions. You get great influence on planning your own workday, as we work self-directed, and there are good opportunities for professional depth and development.

In addition you will receive

  • Skilled and engaged colleagues with high professionalism
  • A strong interdisciplinary collaboration
  • Regular professional meetings and sparring across specialities
  • Process meetings with therapists from the rest of the city
  • Weekly triage meetings in the fixed multidisciplinary team
  • Electric bike available for daily use

At the same time you will be part of a workplace where we look after each other. We have an informal tone, room for humor and a strong focus on respect, care and community. We believe that a good working environment is created together, and that job satisfaction is contagious.

Salary and terms of employment

The position is paid according to the applicable collective agreement. The expected salary level will be communicated before any interview and depends on experience and qualifications.

The practical

The application deadline is 22 October 2026, and we expect to hold interviews on 27 October 2026. This is a full-time position.

If you want to know more, you are welcome to contact Rehabilitation Manager Mie Ottesen at 21 32 57 25. We look forward to hearing from you.
