About the job

Authority - Aids seeks an outgoing and inclusive therapist for a permanent position of 16 hours per week from 1 December 2026.

In Social and Health in Haderslev Municipality, "A Valuable Everyday – every day" sets the direction. All people have a need to determine their own life and, as far as possible, live a life independent of the municipality's assistance. We base our approach on what exactly creates a valuable everyday life for the individual and help them, through the solutions we have - and are building.

We collaborate with citizens and other departments to facilitate welfare and find the best possible solution for the individual citizen. We believe we are at our best when we create solutions together. We are seeking an independent colleague who can see the value in being a team player.

You will join the Aids Team in Authority-Aids, which consists of therapists and administrative staff who handle case processing in the aids area within the Social Service Act sections 112, 112a, 113, 113b, 114, 116 and 117a. In the Children and Youth specialization, work is based on the Child Act.

In addition, case processing is handled under Social Service Act §86.1, as well as the distribution of rehabilitation plans (GOP) under the Health Act §140.

There are also 4 APV consultants in Authority Aids.

There are a total of 19 colleagues in the team including the team leader.

We expect that you

  • are educated as an occupational therapist or physiotherapist
  • have a strong interest and experience in case processing in the children and youth area as well as the training/rehabilitation area
  • are service-minded, decisive and can prioritise your daily life
  • are clear in your communication in a trustful manner
  • have a strong interest in both the challenge and the complexity of citizen cases regardless of age, where interprofessional work plays a big role
  • are engaged in the development of the aids area, including both with regard to the authority area as well as the practical aspects of aids (choice, adaptation and follow-up of approved aids)
  • desire to work cross-disciplinary and find solutions
  • are clear and conscious of your role as an authority figure
  • can use IT and digitalisation as a natural collaboration partner in daily life. We would like you to be able to propose new ways of working with technologies. We use Cura, AI (Copilot) and the Office package
  • are strong in both spoken and written communication
  • have a driving licence and a satisfactory criminal record.

We work according to

  • that independence promotes well-being, and that is demonstrated by the fact that responsibility and competence are largely delegated to the individual caseworker
  • that welfare must be facilitated, and that we are one option among many. Therefore collaboration is a key concept for us
  • that dignity and dignified collaboration with citizens create the best solution
  • that it should be fun to go to work. Therefore we also prioritise informal gatherings and a friendly tone.
