About Naturhuset Spirerne

We are a day care with a strong nature profile, where collaboration and shared responsibility are at the center. We work with NEST as a community-supporting pedagogy and based on a child view that children do well if they can. When a child finds it difficult to succeed, it is the adults' responsibility to be curious and adjust the framework.

As a nutrition assistant you will become part of the community and contribute with your professionalism to the children's well-being, learning and experiences with food.

About the position

You will have responsibility to plan and prepare healthy, varied and inviting food for children aged 0–6 years, 22 infants and 50 preschool children. You will assemble menu plans with focus on nutrition, economy, good ingredients and minimal food waste.

You will among other things

• plan and prepare nutritionally correct meals
• handle kitchen hygiene and own control
• involve the children in cooking when it makes sense
• collaborate with the pedagogical staff about food and meals
• experiment with campfire food and occasionally participate at our nature base in Hakkemosen.

About you

You are trained as a nutrition assistant and eager to use your professional skills in a daily life close to the children. You work independently and structured, keep overview and thrive with flexible frameworks.

You are interested in food joy, outdoor life and meals as part of the children's everyday life. It is an advantage if you have experience from a day care or another workplace with children, but it is not a requirement.

Practical information

The position is 37 hours per week, and we want it filled by December 1, 2026.
