Our baby boom among staff in our kitchen continues and continues and therefore we are once again seeking a new colleague for the Regions Hospital's kitchen in Horsens

Nutrition assistants, chefs, gourmet slicers or other relevant education. – 37 hours/week as a maternity cover, (longer-term).

From 15.11 2026 or as soon as possible after agreement.

Our fantastic colleagues continue to become parents in a row – and we need YOU! Are you a trained nutrition assistant, chef or gourmet slicer with a desire for fixed working hours and meaningful work?

If you have a catering-related education or have dreamed of trying to work in a large kitchen, the opportunity is here now!

Then we are a group of about 50 enthusiastic and food-loving employees with different catering backgrounds, who look forward to welcoming you.

Your tasks will primarily be practical work such as

• Production of hot dishes, including a number of vegetarian dishes
• Production of cold dishes, open sandwiches, sandwiches, dessert and appetizers
• Production of vegetables, including salads and sub-products for other purposes in the kitchen's other departments.
• We produce for both patients and the staff canteen.

In addition, there will also be shifts in our patient ward where we service patients in two wards. You will thus be in close contact with our patients.

On other days, tasks around the practical arrangements for meeting catering for guests and events must be handled.

We imagine that you

• Are trained and have experience with large-scale kitchen or food production
• Have a sense for quality and detail – even under time pressure
• Are approachable, cooperative and flexible
• Take responsibility and contribute positively to the community with a smile and good humor
• Take responsibility.

Working hours

37 hours per week, with shifts every 5th weekend. In addition you can expect about one weekly “evening shift that ends no later than 19:00. Our shifts typically start at 6:30 – 13:54.

Our hospital kitchen is a dynamic kitchen that provides all meals for all hospital patient wards, where we serve about 260 patients, as well as outpatient clinics and we operate a green canteen with about 700 expeditions for hospital staff and also meeting catering.
