Job description

Byens Bilpleje is seeking a qualified and structured employee for our appraisal team. The position entails responsibility for damage assessment, customer contact, and coordination between insurance companies and our workshops.

You will become part of a well-functioning department with a flat organizational structure and a strong team spirit. The position is characterized by a high degree of independence and responsibility, and we expect you to work in a solution-oriented and structured manner.

Your primary tasks

• Assessment and evaluation of damages to vehicles
• Customer contact and guidance throughout the claim process
• Dialogue and coordination with the insurers' appraisers
• Collaboration with our workshops regarding appraisal and repair
• Ensure correct documentation and efficient case handling

We expect that you

• Have a mechanical background, e.g. as a trained mechanic, experience from customer reception, workshop manager or similar.
• Have experience with appraisal or claims assessment (an advantage, but not a requirement)
• Are structured and detail-oriented
• Are strong in customer dialogue and written communication
• Thrive in a daily life where there are many balls in the air
