Experienced advisor for plant engineering tasks

At Artelia we work with advisory, design and implementation of civil engineering projects, creating value for clients, partners and the surrounding society. We have recently won consulting assignments on onshore facilities for Energiø Bornholm, the housing development Langeliniespidsen and other large and small projects. We also expect a continued influx of exciting tasks.

Therefore, we are looking for an experienced civil engineer with solid experience in the design of plant engineering, including pavements, drains, pipelines and technical coordination, etc.— a person who can translate complex issues into robust, well-developed and buildable solutions.

About the role

You will become part of a strong professional environment, where we work with civil engineering projects in all phases—from early analyses and schematic projects to detailed design, tendering, authority handling and execution.

In this role, your primary focus will be to drive the design of technical solutions across a broad spectrum of projects, where technical quality, cross-disciplinary coordination and the ability to create progress are crucial for success.

You will work closely with project managers, clients, contractors, authorities and internal specialists, and you will play a central role in ensuring solutions that are technically well-founded, economically realistic and practically feasible. You will also contribute to the development of colleagues through professional sparring, on-the-job training, quality assurance and knowledge sharing across projects and disciplines.

Our tasks include, among others

• Projects for our own clients such as contractors, private clients, developers, etc.
• Design of roads, drainage, utility networks and other civil engineering technical disciplines
• Rainwater management, including LAR solutions and climate adaptation
• Coordination of utility lines and technical interfaces
• Site development, terrain leveling and pavement design projects
• Tender materials, technical descriptions and authority projects.

Your profile

About you

We envision that you have more than 10 years of relevant experience with design, advisory or project execution and a solid civil engineering foundation.

You have strong competencies in design within the fields of roads, drainage, pipelines, site development and technical coordination, as well as solid experience with the described tasks.

Your educational background could be, for example, engineer, designer or other relevant technical education within civil engineering, construction, infrastructure or utilities.

Your tasks

• Preparation of technical solutions within civil engineering, roads, drainage, pipelines etc.
• Design in multiple project phases – from concept and preliminary design to detailed design, tendering and execution
• Cross-disciplinary coordination between civil engineering, structures, environment, utilities, traffic and other relevant disciplines
• Dialogue with clients, authorities, contractors and partners as well as internal specialists and professional colleagues
