Experienced Construction Mechanic for Major Projects

Workforce Denmark is seeking on behalf of Grønbech Dan Smedien

a skilled mechanic with experience with construction equipment.

If your hands are on the tools the right way, you know your trade – and if you enjoy both workshop work and field service? Then you might be the one we’re looking for.

Grønbech Dan Smedien is a well-established machine shop with proud craftsmanship traditions. We are also a company in development, where renewal and innovation

go hand in hand with good craftsmanship.

We uphold the good craft traditions while we develop the company and invest in our employees.

A diverse everyday life

You won’t be doing the same thing every day. Your tasks will be both in the workshop and at customers’ sites.

You will among other things be working with

• Service, maintenance and repair of construction machinery
• Troubleshooting in mechanics, hydraulics and electricity
• Repair of larger machines
• Field service and urgent repairs
• Special tasks where the standard solution is not always enough
• Development and production of practical solutions

We do not expect that you can do everything from day one. The most important is that you have solid mechanical expertise, take responsibility and are eager to find the fault and get the machine running again.

We imagine that you

• Are a trained mechanic
• Have experience with or an interest in construction or agricultural machinery
• Have a good understanding of mechanics and preferably hydraulics and electricity
• Work independently and take responsibility for your tasks
• Are thorough and take pride in delivering a proper piece of work
• Are stable and punctual
• Can maintain an overview when things do not go as planned
• Have a good and proper manner with customers and colleagues
• Speak Danish and hold a Danish driving license

A forklift license is an advantage, but not a requirement.

We place more weight on what you can do, how you work, and whether you take pride in your trade than on how many courses you have on your CV.

Here is room to be a craftsman

We offer

Workforce Denmark is recruiting on behalf of Grønbech Dan Smedien for an employee who wants to become part of a company with proud craft traditions.

You will get

• A diverse everyday life with both workshop work and field service

• Freedom with responsibility
• Opportunity for professional development
• Possibility of a service vehicle
• Working hours generally from 7:00 to 15:30 / Fri 7:00 to 12:10
• Opportunity to contribute your own ideas and influence solutions and workflows
• Terms for overtime and urgent on-call work to be agreed further
