We are strengthening the professionalism in our Fire Consulting team, therefore we need you who want to play a central role in our Projecting and Client Advisory department.

You will become part of our Fire Consulting team in Odense, where you will get a group of skilled and approachable colleagues who are ready to welcome you. We are looking for a dedicated fire safety consultant who wants to be part of a strong professional environment with focus on quality, collaboration and development. The team has skilled and experienced consultants in all fire classes 2, 3, 4 and third-party, where you will join as an important supplement in the team.

The team plays a central role in our projects, where we contribute with specialized knowledge within fire safety in new build, transformation and renovation. The Fire Consulting team also plays an important role in building and developing close customer relationships through independent consulting and dialogue.

About the position

Your primary area of responsibility is to deliver professional fire consulting on construction projects and ensure that fire strategies and documentation are prepared in accordance with applicable requirements and authorities' regulations.

You will work closely with authorities, client, architects, project managers, structural engineers, installation engineers, building designers and other specialists across the organization.

A typical workday for you will consist of

• Preparation of fire strategies and fire technical documentation
• Fire consulting on projects within new construction, renovation and transformation
• Dialogue with customers, authorities and partners
• Participation in interdisciplinary design and coordination
• Sparring with colleagues on fire-technical solutions
• Participation in project meetings and customer presentations
• Contribute to the professional development and knowledge sharing in the team

You as a candidate

As a person you have a strong professional foundation and are motivated to find the best solutions for the customers. You work structurally and can create an overview in complex projects without losing focus on detail.

It is also important that you have good collaboration and communication skills, as the role involves close dialogue with both customers, authorities and colleagues across disciplines. You are curious, solution-oriented and self-driven and thrive in an organization where professional sparring and knowledge sharing and good camaraderie are valued.

Qualifications

• Certified fire consultant minimum BK2
• Relevant education as engineer, building constructor or similar
• Experience with fire technical consulting within construction projects
• Experience from a consulting engineering company is a plus
• Good understanding of authorities processes and applicable legislation
• Collaborative and strong in written and oral communication
• Ability to build trust and good relations with customers and partners
• It is a plus if you have experience in handling deviations from pre-accepted solutions.
