Experienced kitchen staff for kindergarten – Børnehuset Lundegården

Lundegården Daycare's kindergarten is looking for a sweet and meticulous kitchen assistant 25.5 hours per week with the possibility of during periods to supplement with hours in the children's group. Working hours are typically 8:00 to about 13:00. The position is to be filled as soon as possible, as our kitchen lady has for 5 years sought new challenges.

Your main tasks

The kitchen assistant's task is to prepare the lunch meal for about 75 children. The food is partly delivered pre-cooked from our supplier.

The primary tasks are to order and receive goods, prepare fruit and vegetables, reheat warm dishes and plate the meals for the daycare children. In addition, it will be the kitchen assistant's task to handle cleaning of kitchen cabinets as well as tidying up and washing up the dishes after lunch.

Your skills

You are positive and welcoming and capable of engaging in many relationships with parents, children and staff. Our kitchen is open and in the center of the daycare, therefore the right applicant's collaboration skills will be decisive.

Who are we

The Skovvejen District is located in a lovely natural area close to the forest. In the district there are four daycares, of which Lundegården is one. The others are Daycare by the Forest, Daycare North & South Pole and Isbjerget as well as Daycare Valhalla. There are in total about 100 employees and 400 children. Each daycare has two educational leaders close to the core task. In addition, there is a District Leader who, in collaboration with the educational leaders, is responsible for leading the district.

Employment process and salary

The employment date is as soon as possible – however, we are flexible, so let us talk about it.

We hold interviews as we receive applications.

We offer salary and terms of employment according to the collective agreement for unskilled workers in the kitchen area in the municipalities.

Employment is done according to the principles of local pay formation and in agreement with the union that has the negotiating rights on the relevant collective agreement area. The salary depends, among other things, on your education, documented seniority and qualifications.
