About the job

Would you like to shape an Integrated Care in development and set a common direction across?

Gribskov Municipality is seeking an experienced leader for Integrated Care, who will lead an organisation with high ambitions for quality and coherence in elder care. Cancel

Integrated Care has since 2018 been under development as a municipal organisation, and you will step into a leadership role where there is still a need to consolidate, prioritise and set a clear direction.

As the leader of Integrated Care you will be part of the centre management and have responsibility for ensuring progress and development in an organisation with several geographies and different local conditions.

About Integrated Care

Integrated Care in Gribskov Municipality works to create coherent and holistic citizen journeys across interventions and geographies.

The organisation is distributed across four districts and provides integrated care around the clock as well as operation of nursing clinics.

You will lead approximately 280 employees, around 1,400–1,500 citizens, and a leadership team consisting of 9 district leaders and a nursing professional leader with responsibility for the cross-cutting and supporting functions. In addition, you will lead a small administration of 3 employees.

Integrated Care is characterised by an ambition of coherence in citizen pathways and high quality across districts and professional domains.

About the position

As the leader of Integrated Care you have the overall responsibility for operations and development in an organisation where you must create coherence across geography, professional domains and levels of leadership.

Integrated Care is organised across several districts where leaders and employees are not gathered in one location. A central task is therefore to further develop Integrated Care as one unified organisation with a common course, cross-cutting collaboration and strong follower engagement. You lead through a group of district leaders with different conditions, which requires you to balance common direction with respect for difference and ensure that decisions are translated into practice.

A key part of the task is to strengthen the link between quality, operations and economy and to create an overview in an organisation where financial management is under development – while at the same time setting direction for professional quality.

We are in the process of implementing new financial models, which entail shared responsibility in the leadership team for prioritisation, follow-up and financial control. You will have an important role in setting the direction for the work and ensuring that finance and operations are tightly aligned.

You also have the responsibility to bring together and further develop the leadership team with a focus on clear agreements, a well-functioning collaboration and progress in central development initiatives. You are a visible and present leader with an eye to the whole organisation.

We are looking for a leader who

  • Has solid leadership experience with leading other leaders
  • Has experience from a municipal and politically governed organisation
  • Has a health professional background and insight into home care and nursing
  • Has a strong interest in and understanding of economics and operational management
  • Has knowledge of legislation in the elderly and health sector, including the Elderly Act and the Health Act
  • Can communicate clearly and build understanding across
  • Can create engagement and work in a trust-based manner
  • Works inclusively and can unite the leadership team around a common direction and ensure that decisions are translated into practice

We offer

  • A central leadership role with considerable influence
  • Opportunity to shape the development of Integrated Care
  • A strong leadership community with a focus on collaboration
  • Good opportunities for professional and managerial development
