Experienced Mechanic Wanted – Construction Machinery, Hydraulics and Electrical

Do you have solid mechanical experience, do you know your trade – and do you have experience with repair and fault finding on construction equipment?

Then it might be you we are looking for.

We are looking for an experienced mechanic who can work independently with service, maintenance and repair of construction equipment.

You must primarily be strong in mechanics, but it is important that you also have practical experience with hydraulics as well as electrical and electronic fault finding.

At Grønbech Dan Smedien you will have a varied daily life, where tasks range from major repairs in the workshop to field service and urgent repairs at customers.

From fault finding to completed repair

You will work with different types of construction machines and have a daily routine,

where you must be able to think independently and find the solution when the machine is not functioning as it should.

Your tasks will include

• Service, maintenance and repair of construction machines
• Mechanical fault finding and repair
• Fault finding on hydraulic systems
• Electrical and electronic fault finding
• Repair and maintenance of larger machines
• Field service and urgent repairs
• Diagnosis and localization of faults
• Special tasks where the standard solution is not always the right one
• Development and production of practical solutions

You must be able to take a task from fault finding to completed repair and have the satisfaction of getting the machine back into operation.

We do not expect that you know everything from day one. The most important is that you have a strong mechanical expertise,

take responsibility for your tasks and are eager to identify the fault and solve the problem.

We imagine that you

• Are trained as a mechanic or have equivalent solid practical experience
• Have experience with construction machines, agricultural machinery, industrial machines or other heavy equipment
• Have strong mechanical skills
• Have experience with hydraulics
• Have practical experience with electrical and electronic fault finding
• Can work independently and take responsibility for your tasks
• Work thoroughly and take pride in solid craftsmanship
• Can keep an overview when the fault is not obvious
• Is reliable and punctual
• Has good and professional interaction with customers and colleagues
• Speaks Danish and has a Danish driver’s license

Truck certificate is an advantage, but not a requirement.

We place greater emphasis on what you can do, how you work, and whether you take pride in your craft, than on how many courses and certificates you have on your CV.
