Experienced Project Manager for DS Steel Construction

At DS Stålkonstruktion we are looking for an experienced project manager who will take responsibility for industrial, warehouse and logistics buildings and help ensure high quality, coordination and strong collaboration both internally and externally.

About the role

You will become part of our Large Scale Steel Structures department, where we work on projects of varying size and complexity for customers in both domestic and international markets. As a project manager you will be responsible for driving the projects safely through the entire process from the early phases to delivery and follow-up.

The role requires you to create overview, take control and be proactive in finding solutions that ensure progress and quality in the projects. You are involved in ensuring that the projects go the right way in terms of both technical aspects, schedule and collaboration. Communication and quality are central levers in the role, and you ensure that everyone works towards common goals.

You will become part of a professionally strong team from day one with short decision paths, close camaraderie and an informal tone, where we work closely on the projects. Here there is room to make your mark, take responsibility and actively contribute to both projects and the community.

Your primary areas of responsibility

• Drive projects from early planning to finished construction with responsibility for progress, quality and economy.
• Set the direction for projects and ensure structure and quality throughout the process.
• Coordinate work in our own static and design office, production internally or externally, and final assembly – all in collaboration with internal and external parties.
• Actively contribute with solution proposals and ensure high quality.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with customers, colleagues and partners.

About you

We expect you to be educated as a draughtsman or engineer and have several years of experience with technical project management.

• Are structured, persistent and used to working with many stakeholders.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with both customers and colleagues.
• Thrive in close collaboration in teams and contribute actively to our good working environment.
• Are prepared to travel in connection with projects and customer visits.
• Master Danish and English in writing and speech. Knowledge of Swedish and Norwegian is an advantage, but not a requirement.
